My work, both as a photographer and a painter tends towards the sequential, It develops in series and I delight in juxtapositions wherever i find them in the world.
In these diptychs, I am interested not only in the correlations between the individual images but also in the space between them and the resultant energy/tension that is created.
To make these I have returned to film, the 1st 4 are purely photographic, the 2nd set are the beginnings of a project where I will be pairing photographs and painting.
